Cuervo Enterprises purchases JET metal
lathe!

New metal lathe will enable us
to keep all design, development and fabrication work in house!
- Cuervo Enterprises has acquired a JET metal lathe
for use in mold and model making which will enable us to turn our own
original designs for our candle and pewter casting services. This floor
model lathe is an addition to our machine facilities equipped with drill
presses, band and scroll saws, numerous high speed die grinders, and other
equipment used in the fabrication of our original model designs and casting
molds.

Cuervo Enterprises acquires new digital
camera!

New SONY digital
camera will keep the website interesting and current!
- Cuervo Enterprises has acquired a mega pixel SONY
digital camera to help keep the website updated with current photos of our
new products. The model purchased was an ideal choice for our website due
to the multitude of options and the quality of the photographic images.
This particular model has a MPEG movie mode and also a GIF clip motion
feature. With the ability to create animated GIFs, we hope to add more
dynamic pics to the website like the 360° View of our Wisconsin
Commemorative Candle. This particular animation was created
with a 35mm camera, the film was developed and processed onto a CD photo
disc and then the animation was created using a GIF Image Maker with 6
panels that makes the candle revolve on the page. The GIF clip motion
feature in the new digital camera will allow us to take more interesting
views of our products quicker and without the problems related to the
other method used in creating web page animation. We hope you will enjoy
this special feature of the website and the dynamic views of our unique
and original products.

Cuervo Enterprises acquires new
printers!
New duplexing laser
printer and photo quality ink jet printer will aid in producing
company brochures and catalogs!
- Cuervo Enterprises has acquired a BROTHER
duplexing laser printer and an EPSON photo quality inkjet printer to
enable us to produce our own in-house brochures, pamphlets, and dealer
catalogs. These high resolution printers will allow us to reproduce
the photographs of our entire product line in black and white or
photo quality color with excellent clarity and detail. Being able to
create our own quality brochures and catalogs will allow us to keep
our printings current and up to date. We'll also be able to produce
our own quality in-house product labels, P-O-S display cards, and a
4-color catalog for our dealers and wholesale customers.

URLs for B2B

- Top three domain levels registered: lightanew.com,
lightanew.net, and lightanew.org!
- Cuervo Enterprises has entered the world of
e-commerce by registering lightanew as the
main domain name for the New Millennium Candle Company
website. All current business to business transactions will be conducted
through lightanew.com, with future e-commerce business
to be assigned the lightanew.net URL. The lightanew.org
site will be used for future candle association announcements and related
member contributions. All three domains can now be accessed through the
current default website of lightanew.com.
